Bilbao Street Map Poster

The defining feature of any Bilbao city map is the Nervión, the tidal river that loops through the heart of the Basque Country’s largest city and gave it both its port and its modern reinvention. Follow its curve and you pass the titanium ripples of the Guggenheim Museum and the slender white arc of the Zubizuri footbridge, the two structures that anchor the riverside walk.

On the right bank sits the Casco Viejo, the old town built around the original Siete Calles, or Seven Streets, with arcaded Plaza Nueva at its centre.
